Poultry companies Nutrifrango, Aurora, Granja Faria and Globoaves achieve outstanding Ross 308 AP breeder results in Southern Brazil
CAMPINAS, Brazil – Aviagen® recently held its annual Ross® 308 AP Breeder Awards for customers in Southern Brazil.
This year, Nutrifrango, Aurora Coop, Granja Faria and Globoaves earned honors for their Ross 308 AP breeder flock performance. Performance is evaluated in two categories: total eggs per hen housed and total chicks per hen housed. The annual program includes three regional groupings — Central-West/North/Northeast, Southeast and South — as well as a national ranking.
In 2026, awards went to 13 customers based on results from breeder flocks completed in 2025. Recipients received plaques and special handcrafted rooster trophies for their national and/or regional achievements.
For Luiz Mansano, Aviagen Commercial Manager for Brazil, this year’s results also reflect the advanced nature of poultry production in Southern Brazil and the importance of achieving strong breeder results while continuing to focus on bird welfare and sustainable poultry production. “Southern Brazil is one of the major centers of animal protein production, and the customers receiving these awards are examples of efficient management. Staying close to these companies and celebrating their achievements reflects the spirit of Breeding Success Together and our focus on creating lasting value for the poultry industry,” he commented.
Top regional results in “Total Eggs per Hen Housed”
- 1st place: Nutrifrango – 215.39
- 2nd place: Aurora Coop – 214.76
- 3rd place: Granja Faria – 209.18
Nutrifrango award
