Program brings together poultry professionals for practical learning and knowledge exchange focused on breeder management.
CAMPINAS, Brazil – Aviagen® recently brought its In-Company Connection program to longtime customer Avícola Pato Branco, a poultry producer with a 55-year history of dedication to quality and responsible production of hatching eggs and day-old chicks.
Held at Avícola Pato Branco’s headquarters in Paraná, Brazil, the event brought together 40 poultry professionals for an intensive program focused on flock management and shared learning between the Avícola Pato Branco and Aviagen teams.
The program included visits to breeder rearing and production farms, in-depth analysis of flock data and discussions on ideal male conformation and breeder management to promote fertility.
Focus on efficient and quality poultry production
Aviagen In-Company Connection brings learning directly to customers, with each program tailored to the customer’s operation and designed to connect poultry management knowledge with practical experience.
At Avícola Pato Branco, sessions followed the different stages of poultry production, with presentations and interactive discussions on key factors influencing flock management. Aviagen Regional Technical Services Supervisors Alcides Paes, Mauro Piotto and Denilson Vanin contributed to the farm visits and training sessions. Paes, who works directly with Avícola Pato Branco, joined Piotto and Vanin in sharing practical insights and discussing areas for further improvement.
For Aviagen, immersive programs like this reflect a shared dedication to the continued development of the poultry sector. “Avícola Pato Branco has built a respected name in the poultry industry over more than five decades through hard work and a continuous drive to improve,” said Daniel Bernardes, Aviagen Regional Sales Supervisor. “The In-Company Connection reflects our commitment to working side by side with our customers, sharing knowledge and strengthening relationships that contribute to productivity, sustainability and bird welfare on the farm.”
A broader view of the poultry operation
Bringing together observations from the farm visits, flock data and breeder management discussions gave participants a broader view of Avícola Pato Branco’s operation and helped identify practical priorities for upcoming production cycles.
Closing discussions brought the different areas of learning together, reinforcing the value of continuous learning in supporting sustainable poultry production in Brazil.
