CAMPINAS, Brazil – Aviagen® Latin America’s South America Excluding Brazil (SAEB) customer service and sales teams were delighted to connect with Bolivian poultry producers at the Seminário Alimenta, which took place from Oct. 19 to 20 in Santa Cruz de La Sierra, Bolivia. This 14th annual event, sponsored by Ross® 308 AP Parent Stock (PS) customer Avícola Sofia, served as a space for sharing knowledge about the latest trends and innovations aimed at advancing the poultry production chain.
As a Platinum sponsor of the event, Aviagen engaged in vital conversations concerning industry-specific topics in Bolivia, emphasizing the significant role Bolivia plays in Aviagen’s mission to “breed success together” with customers and industry allies.
Foundational to “breeding success together” is the exchange of relevant and innovative information that empowers producers to optimize the efficiency and performance of their flocks and business operations. Aviagen Latin America Technical Service Manager Marcus Briganó actively contributed to this knowledge sharing by presenting the topic: “The impact of technology on broiler houses productivity.” Briganó highlighted key technologies in use today and on the horizon that are ideal for enhancing the efficiency, biosecurity and productivity of modern poultry production.
Beyond the seminar itself, event sponsors and attendees also participated in the Fexpo Alimenta, providing further opportunities for relationship building and discussion.
“Bolivia stands as a strategic market for Aviagen, and we work side-by-side with Avícola Sofia and all our valued customers to address their needs, offering expert advice to overcome their daily challenges and strengthen their businesses,” said Luis Cesio, Business Manager for Aviagen SAEB.
“We were delighted to engage with our Avicola Sofia colleagues, and thank them for the honor of once again participating in this well-organized event,” added Jairo Agostini, Sales Manager for Aviagen in Bolivia.
