Interactive activities and expert presentations highlighted Aviagen's customer-focused presence at SIAVS

CAMPINAS, Brazil – Aviagen,® welcomed customers and industry stakeholders to its booth at the 2026 International Animal Protein Show (SIAVS), Brazil's leading animal protein event. Held Aug. 4-6 in São Paulo, the event brought together professionals from across Brazil's animal protein sector.

Visitors explored how the Ross® 308 AP combines balanced progress in welfare, sustainability and performance to help poultry producers achieve consistent results from farm to processing.

Aviagen's executive leadership and commercial and customer support teams met with visitors to discuss their operations, answer questions and explore solutions tailored to individual production goals. The team was led by Ivan Pupo Lauandos, President of Aviagen Latin America, and included leaders from the company's operations and export teams.

Brazil's role in supplying poultry breeding stock

Ailton Locateli speaking at SIAVS 2026 As part of the official SIAVS conference program, Ailton Locateli delivered a presentation highlighting Brazil's strategic role as a global supplier of high-performance poultry breeding stock. His presentation explored the complexities of exporting hatching eggs and day-old chicks, where precise timing and careful coordination are essential.

Locateli also discussed the complex logistics involved in transporting live poultry, emphasizing the importance of temperature control and efficient airport operations. In addition, he highlighted how Brazil's strong animal health status, bilateral trade agreements and commitment to animal welfare support the country's leadership and competitiveness in global markets.

Connecting with customers at the booth and online

In addition to meetings at the booth, Aviagen created opportunities to engage poultry producers both in person and online. Cidimar Trevisan and Ivan Filippini, both regional technical services supervisors in Brazil, answered questions submitted by followers of the Vida de Granja Instagram channel about broiler and breeder production.
