Customer-focused sessions in Palmira bring poultry professionals together for practical learning tailored to local production needs. Pronavicola, Mi Pollo, Programas y Servicios Pecuarios, HF de Colombia and Gonavi teams

CAMPINAS, Brazil – Aviagen® Colombia continued its ‘Knowledge Without Borders’ journey in Colombia Aug. 26, with program developed specifically for customers Pronavicola-Grupo Aviara, Mi Pollo, Programas y Servicios Pecuarios, HF de Colombia and Gonavi, in Palmira.

Bringing together approximately 30 poultry professionals and specialists, the event explored areas important to breeder management, flock health and animal welfare. Specialists from Aviagen were joined by representatives from Plasson, Safeeds, Insapec and Petersime, adding expertise in complementary areas of poultry production.

Knowledge shaped around customer needs

Rather than following a single agenda, the event was tailored to the priorities of the customers taking part. The program with Pronavicola-Grupo Aviara, Mi Pollo, Programas y Servicios Pecuarios, HF de Colombia and Gonavi covered the poultry production cycle, with discussions ranging from breeder management, automatic nest management, Salmonella control, feed quality, incubation and animal welfare, reflecting their own priorities.

“It was a very valuable experience. The presentations provided new insights while reinforcing important management principles, and it was also a great opportunity to exchange experiences with other companies,” said Dr. Eimmy Sierra, Breeder Director, Mi Pollo.

“The topics were timely and highly relevant, with an open environment to discuss different aspects of broiler breeder production, share experiences and clarify questions. The event also gave us an opportunity to pause amid the difficult circumstances we have faced since the Aug. 10 earthquake. It was an enriching and enjoyable day,” said Dr. Luis Armel Ramírez, Production Manager, Pronavicola.
