Three-day event combined farm visits and practical learning sessions for leaders from Paraná and Santa Catarina to help maximize production results
CAMPINAS, Brazil – Aviagen® recently brought its In-Company Connection program to Grupo Pluma, welcoming leaders from the company's operations in Paraná and Santa Catarina, Brazil, for three days of learning tailored to their own operation. Through farm visits, practical discussions and the sharing of best management practices, participants identified opportunities to maximize production results.
Farm visits guide learning
The first two days were dedicated to visits to Pluma's breeder rearing and production farms, where Aviagen specialists worked alongside the customer's team to observe day-to-day operations and gather information. Each visit was followed by data review sessions that helped shape discussions around the customer's specific production environment and opportunities for continued improvement.
Practical discussions focus on customer needs
The learning sessions explored ideal male conformation, rooster management strategies to optimize fertility, and opportunities to strengthen daily management practices.
Participants then applied these concepts through interactive group activities based on Pluma's own operation, identifying practical opportunities to further optimize production.
