Grupo Alvorada, Avivar, Ad’oro, Granja Brasília and Grupo Neto recognized for egg and chick production per hen housed
CAMPINAS, Brazil – Aviagen® customers in Southeast Brazil continue to demonstrate skilled breeder management, with a focus on flock welfare, sustainability and performance. Aviagen presented its 2026 Ross® 308 AP Breeder Awards to celebrate the teams behind some of the region’s top-performing flocks.
This year, Grupo Alvorada, Avivar Alimentos, Ad’oro, Granja Brasília and Grupo Neto received awards in two categories: total eggs per hen housed and total chicks per hen housed, based on breeder flocks completed in 2025. Following the recent awards in Southern Brazil, the Southeast program is the second in Ross 2026 regional breeder award series.
Luiz Mansano, Aviagen Commercial Manager for Brazil, reflected on the region’s strong poultry tradition. “Southeast Brazil has a strong tradition in poultry production, and these awards reflect the high standard of breeder management we see throughout the region,” said Mansano. “It is a pleasure to recognize the people whose care and attention to detail make that possible every day.”

Recognizing excellence across Brazil
The Breeder Awards are presented annually in three regions – Central-West/North/Northeast, Southeast and South – as well as at the national level. In 2026, Aviagen is honoring 13 customers throughout Brazil.
Recipients were honored with commemorative plaques, handcrafted rooster sculptures representing their regional and/or national awards, and a special gift.
