São Salvador Alimentos, Granja Serra, Granja Quintal, Notaro Alimentos, and Pluma Cassilândia among top achievers
CAMPINAS, Brazil – Aviagen® recently celebrated the success of poultry producers in Brazil’s Central-West, North, and Northeast regions at the 7th edition of the Ross® 308 AP Breeder Awards. The event recognized customers whose dedication, flock management and focus on bird welfare led to exceptional results in parent stock productivity.
Poultry companies São Salvador Alimentos, Granja da Serra, Granja No Quintal, Notaro Alimentos and Pluma Cassilândia, were honored for their excellence in total eggs per housed hen and total chicks per housed hen up to 66 weeks of age, based on 2024 flocks.
“Each year we see the Ross 308 AP reach new levels of performance, driven by the competence, dedication, and welfare-focused care of our customers in Brazil. Their daily commitment is what allows the bird’s potential to truly shine,” explained Luiz Mansano, Aviagen’s Commercial Manager in Brazil.
Winners in total eggs per hen housed
Granja da Serra, São Salvador Alimentos, Granja No Quintal and Notaro Alimentos all did exceptionally well in the category of total eggs per hen housed:
- 1st place Granja da Serra – 211.28
- 1st place: São Salvador Alimentos – 211.19
- 1st place: São Salvador Alimentos – 211.02
- 2nd place: Granja No Quintal – 209.59
- 2nd place: Notaro Alimentos – 209.24
- 2nd place: Granja da Serra – 209.15
- 3rd place: Notaro Alimentos – 208.50

Excellence in total chicks per hen housed
São Salvador Alimentos also took the lead in the total chicks per housed hen category, earning both first and second place, while Granja Quintal and Pluma Cassilândia tied for third:
- 1st place: São Salvador Alimentos – 170.46
- 2nd place: São Salvador Alimentos – 168.93
- 3rd place Granja No Quintal – 164.58
- 3rd place Pluma Cassilândia – 164.05
