Aviagen shares practical knowledge to support poultry performance at IncubaFÓRUM and new hands-on training course

CAMPINAS, Brazil – The Aviagen® Latin America team recently joined poultry professionals from across Brazil in Maringá (PR) for IncubaFÓRUM Brazil 2025, held May 6-7, and a hands-on Theoretical and Practical Course on Reproduction and Incubation, which took place May 8-9. Organized by the University of São Paulo (USP) and North Carolina State University (NCSU) in the US, the course was the first of its kind in Brazil to combine classroom and practical learning focused on incubation and breeder management.

Both events brought together producers, researchers, and poultry specialists to exchange ideas, explore innovations, and support sustainable performance – reinforcing Aviagen’s ongoing commitment to Breeding Success Together.

Held at the State University of Maringá (UEM), the Theoretical and Practical Course on Reproduction and Incubation marked the first time practical and classroom learning were combined in Brazil to focus on excellence in reproduction and incubation.

Aviagen proudly supported the course as a sponsor and through the participation of Felipe Kroetz Neto, Technical Services Supervisor and incubation specialist for Aviagen in Brazil. As the only speaker invited to lead both practical and theoretical sessions, Felipe helped equip future poultry professionals with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.

Breeding success together

“Aviagen was pleased to be part of both IncubaFÓRUM and the reproduction and incubation course,” concluded Marco Aurélio Romagnole de Araújo, Technical Services Manager for Aviagen in Brazil. “These events gave us the chance to share knowledge, learn from others, and support producers in their work. It’s another way we continue Breeding Success Together with our customers and the wider poultry sector.”
