Strategic Changes Strengthen Aviagen's Leadership in Brazil

Campinas, Brazil – Aviagen® Latin America has announced two strategic leadership changes within its Brazil team, reflecting the company's ongoing commitment to service excellence, recognition of internal talent, and the continued strengthening of its operations.

Marco Aurélio Romagnole de Araújo has been appointed General Manager of Grandparent Production, responsible for Aviagen’s parent stock production operations in Brazil, while Rodrigo Tedesco Guimarães now leads the Customer Service team in his new role as Manager.

Leadership with a focus on innovation and sustainability

In his new role, Araújo will report directly to Aviagen Brazil Operations Director, Leandro München. A veterinarian with a degree from the State University of Londrina (UEL), Marco Aurélio Romagnole de Araújo holds a specialization in Poultry Science and an MBA with an emphasis in the sector. With more than 30 years of industry experience, he joined Aviagen in 2012 as Technical Services Manager in Brazil. During this period, he led a team of specialists dedicated to supporting customers across the country.

“Taking on the general management of Aviagen’s grandparent production in Brazil is the continuation of a journey built with dedication and aligned with the company’s values,” said Araújo. “Over the past 13 years, I’ve had the opportunity to witness Aviagen’s growth in Brazil, the strengthening of our technical team, and the development of solid relationships with customers — always focused on ‘Breeding Success Together.’ I now look forward to contributing a new perspective to the production area, with a focus on operational excellence, biosecurity, and sustainable processes. I remain motivated and committed to delivering consistent results and supporting the success of our operations and our customers.”

Strengthening customer connection

Tedesco will report directly to Luiz Mansano, Commercial Manager in this new position. Since 2012, he has served as Regional Technical Services Supervisor and Broiler Specialist. He is a veterinarian from the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel), with an MBA in Business Management, and brings additional experience from companies such as BRF, Agrofrango, and Frigorífico Nicolini. At Aviagen, he has worked primarily in broiler and environmental management, and is co-author of the chapter “Early and Growth Management” in the third edition of Broiler Production, published by the Foundation for Support to Animal Science and Technology (FACTA).

“Being part of Aviagen’s support team has been a transformative experience,” continued Tedesco. “I firmly believe customer service is the vital link between the advanced genetics we develop and the customer’s success on the farm. Leading the team is both a great honor and a responsibility. My goal is to continue supporting the development of our professionals and to strengthen the close, proactive relationship we maintain with our customers — always aiming to add value and deliver sustainable results across the production chain.”

For Leandro München, these changes reflect Aviagen’s commitment to developing internal talent and maintaining a high level of customer service.
