Huntsville, AL – Aviagen^® recently hosted two successful Aviagen Day events – one at Auburn University and one at the University of Arkansas – in collaboration with each institution’s poultry science programs. While held on separate days, both events followed an engaging schedule designed to connect students with industry professionals and provide practical career development opportunities.

At each Aviagen Day, students ranging from first-year undergraduates to Ph.D. candidates participated in mock interviews, resume clinics, and open panel discussions with Aviagen executives. These sessions encouraged meaningful conversations, thoughtful questions, and strong engagement from students across poultry science, engineering, and related fields, offering valuable insight into careers within our industry.

The Aviagen team enjoyed connecting with so many motivated and talented students at both universities. The energy and professionalism demonstrated throughout each event highlighted the strength of today’s emerging poultry leaders and the importance of continued collaboration between academia and industry.
