HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Aviagen® North America, in collaboration with Jamesway Incubator, hosted its first hatchery workshop in Calgary, Canada from November 12-14, since 2012. This event brought together participants from across the country, representing provinces from Nova Scotia to British Columbia.
A unique learning experience
The workshop agenda was carefully crafted to deliver maximum value to attendees, featuring a day of expert presentations on hatchery management and biosecurity. This was followed by hands-on breakout sessions and concluded with an engaging roundtable discussion, where Aviagen and Jamesway experts shared insights and collaborated with customers.
Led by Aviagen’s Global Incubation team and Jamesway specialists, the sessions provided practical knowledge designed to enhance hatchery operations, improve chick quality, and ensure optimal performance, health, and welfare.
A major success across Canada
The event marked a significant achievement for Aviagen in Canada, with participants traveling from every major province, including Nova Scotia, Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia.
