Aviagen Anadolu Enhances Customer Support with Management Seminar

Edinburgh. – Ross® poultry producers from all over Türkiye came together in Sapanca, Türkiye, from 03-05 October, for the first face-to-face Aviagen® Anadolu customer seminar since 2019. The Aviagen Anadolu team welcomed more than 150 customers alongside Aviagen specialists, where they discussed a range of key management topics including; current genetic developments, nutrition, carcass quality, breeder and broiler data trends, Avian Influenza (AI) and biosecurity, metabolic diseases, marketing messages, regional investments and the developments in the Turkish poultry industry.

Guests at the Aviagen Anadolu customer seminar The Ross 308 parent stock (PS) and broiler are performing exceptionally well in Türkiye. The Ross 308 delivers exceptional yield for total carcass, feed conversion ratio (FCR), and average daily gain (ADG), and these results were highlighted in the R&D update which was given by Santiago Avendaño, Director of Global Genetics, and also in the broiler and breeder trends update which was given by Işıl Özkan, Data Analyst & Reporting Specialist.

Towards the end of the seminar, a panel session was held which allowed customers to ask the panelists any questions they had relating to the presentation topics that had been discussed throughout the one-and-a-half-day seminar.

Once the seminar concluded, the Aviagen Anadolu team presented the top three Club award winners with certificates and awards for their exceptional results. The Clubs recognize the dedication and skill of customers who achieve winning performance with their Ross flocks.

This was our first seminar since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and it was great to see even more of our customers attend this seminar compared to previous ones.
