Support from your UK & Scandinavian Technical Team

Our UK and Scandinavian Technical Team is dedicated to strengthening the success of our Parent Stock and Broiler customers in the UK and Scandinavia.

Two key factors in this success are maximising biological performance and consistently improving welfare. We believe that good welfare is good for business—healthy, strong birds perform better, live longer, resist disease, and make more efficient use of feed.

By working closely with our customers, we assess flock management techniques and offer best-practice recommendations. Through careful analysis, we help you develop the best strategies for your business.

To breed the best, we need the best. That’s why we’re committed to supporting the future of our industry by attracting and inspiring the next generation through initiatives like scholarships and sponsorships. This ensures that we can continue to provide top-notch support for our customers now and in the future.

Celebrating EPEF through customer recognition programmes

Our UK broiler producers continue to drive performance to the next level.

To honour their hard work and dedication, we established the Ross 400 Club in 2009, recognizing those who achieved a European Performance Efficiency Factor (EPEF) of 400 or more with their broiler flocks. As our customers continued to excel, we raised the bar, introducing the Ross 420 Club, followed by the Ross 440 Club in 2022. And at the beginning of 2024, we launched the Ross 450 Club, reflecting the remarkable achievements of our top producers. Our goal is to keep our members among the top 1% of the UK broiler industry.

To further encourage and inspire our customers, we introduced the Gold Awards for those who manage three consecutive flocks with an EPEF of 450 or more or hit an EPEF that’s 10% above 450 (495 or more).

We are excited to announce a new annual 450 Club event which will replace on-farm presentations and instead offer an opportunity for the top broiler growers of the industry to come together to celebrate their successes and to share knowledge and expertise with their industry colleagues.

Have achieved an EPEF of 450 or more please join our Club – contact [email protected] for further details.

Ensuring bird health, welfare and efficiency

Our team is committed to helping our UK and Scandinavian customers achieve the best results with their birds.

We focus on key management practices that boost egg production for breeders and optimise feed efficiency for broilers. Our priority is bird health and welfare—not only because we care for our birds, but because it also leads to better economic outcomes in poultry production, resulting in healthier, happier chickens.

A big part of our approach involves analyzing data. We collaborate with our customers to use their own performance data, helping them identify opportunities for improvement. Through this analysis, we also gain valuable insights into the highest levels of performance, which we share to further enhance their success.
